Acting, Singing, Performing

 Growing up in a musical household, Ingrid has been singing since she could talk. Making up songs about the birds on the trash can in a feather boa at three years old was only the beginning of performance in her life. Throughout her childhood, Ingrid's main interest in performing came from her involvement in choir and vocal ensembles. Whether belting her original songs in the living room or singing harmonies in a crowd, music helped her gain confidence on stage and introduced her to the world of performance. 

It wasn't until the second semester of her freshmen year in high school that Ingrid was introduced to theater, and ever since that first production, she's never been able to turn away. Whether its creating stories through productions or writing, Ingrid loves the experience of performing stories on the stage, and she's no stranger to versatile roles. From large, overly animated character roles to complex, lifelike people, Ingrid has grown through conveying the truth in a wide variety of roles. 

Ingrid's start in theater blossomed at Charles Henderson High School, but her theatrical experience is only growing as she continues her performance study as part of Troy University's Department of Theatre and Dance. Exploring new techniques in acting, writing, dancing, directing, and countless other aspects of production, Ingrid is fully immersed in the world of theater, often doubting that she'll ever abandon this passion.

Because of her involvement with Troy University Theatre and Dance, Ingrid has the amazing opportunity to participate in countless department affiliated and student led projects.
